2021 update

Production for all made-to-order styles can expect to take 2-3 weeks for your order to ship.

Please see the *Ready to Ship* page for your immediate gifting needs as those styles will be shipped within 48hrs of your order being placed.

Payment/Deposit

We offer a free consultation to ensure that Morgan Patricia Designs is the right fit for your custom design. Once that is confirmed, we typically require a $200 non-refundable deposit on all custom orders, and cannot start work until this has been received.

MPD is honored to create your future heirlooms and pieces of jewelry with special meaning, so you can expect to receive photos of the creation process along the way to ensure that we are on track! When the order is finished (in approximately 3-4 weeks depending on the scope of the project), we will collect the remaining balance prior to shipping.​

We currently accept payment through PayPal’s secure services. You do not need to create an account to pay with a credit/debit card.

Customization

Customization can take up to an extra 2 weeks to complete, depending on the intricacy of the design. Pricing will vary.

If you would like to customize an available design with special engraving, please contact us and we will provide you with the appropriate pricing.

Returns/Exchanges

Because of the one of a kind nature of our pieces, and many are handmade to order, all sales are final.

If an item shipped to you is damaged upon arrival, you must contact us within 24hrs of delivery with clear photos showing the damage and be able to return the item within 5 days of receipt. Depending on the damage, we will make the necessary repairs and return the item to you. Please do not return any items without the RA# provided by MPD.

We want you to love your new jewelry. In certain cases, when designs are purchased from us directly, we may offer an exchange on stock items within 7 days of purchase. This excludes custom designs or resized rings.

When allowed, all items must be in new condition and returned in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges, and we highly recommend that you insure any shipments for the original value of the design.

Shipping/Delivery

Most of our designs are handmade to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for your order to ship. Certain customized orders may take longer, and we will inform you of that timeline when starting a new project. If you need to have an order rushed, please contact us prior to placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.

All US orders are shipped insured via UPS 3 Day Select and require signature for delivery. ​

International orders are shipped insured via USPS Priority Express. Please contact us if you have any concerns regarding shipping & delivery date, as that varies from country to country. Please be advised that international shipping is still experiencing some heavy delays due to COVID-19, and it may take months for your package to arrive without proper tracking information available. If you would like to discuss alternate shipping options, please use the contact page prior to ordering!

Sizing

Please make sure to provide us with the correct ring size when you place your order.

If you are local to Los Angeles, we are happy to schedule an appointment for sizing. We always recommend obtaining an accurate size from a professional jeweler prior to placing your order.

Repairs

Please contact us if you would like us to perform a repair on any items purchased directly from Morgan Patricia Designs. We require images of the item in order for us to provide you with a cost estimate. We only repair MPD jewelry!

MPD Values

MPD believes in giving back. While we donate regularly to Black Lives Matter and organizations that focus on sea-saving initiatives, two of the organizations we chose to focus our efforts on in 2021 are The Loveland Foundation (bi-monthly) and No Kid Hungry (Joyful Heart collection). Over the years Carlie has volunteered with organizations such as Shark Angels, Pangeaseed, and Postcards to Swing States, and is always happy to provide physical products for charity auctions close to her heart (contact me here!). She runs her business the way that she lives her life.. wanting to reduce waste, recycle, caring for her community, and finding sustainable alternatives.

MPD is always looking for better ways to run a more eco-friendly and sustainable business. We are able to cut back on waste by producing in smaller quantities (capsule collections and one of a kind styles), purchasing packaging and marketing materials made from post consumer waste and recycled materials, and working with a team of local artisans and bench workers to produce all styles locally by hand. We are also proud to source many of our gemstones from transparent, ethical suppliers who’s focus is on ensuring the safety and well-being of the mining communities. This industry’s impact is far-reaching, and it is our responsibility to educate ourselves to make it as earth friendly as possible.
