I’m so excited to share this newest batch of Australian opals with you! I chose these for their vibrancy, intense fire, and variety of prominent colors.
Did you know that I do most of my gemstone purchasing in Tucson, AZ in February of each year? For me, the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is unparalleled in size, quality, and assortment. There are nearly 50 separate shows going on simultaneously with hundreds and hundreds of exhibitors from around the world spread throughout the city.
Each year I make a list of the vendors I continue to purchase from as well as make time to wander in the hopes that I stumble upon exciting new options for the line. I’m excited to share two of the Boulder opals I picked out last week are perfect for the Tidal Moon settings. If they speak to you, reach out ASAP! They never last for long!
One, a black opal in deep, vibrant blues with a hint of violet. It feels like midnight!!
The other is made up of the sweetest shades of lighter blues, with a similar vibe to the Ocean Hues ring that sold last year.
